Comprehensive eye exams evaluate ALL aspects of your vision AND eye health.
Refraction (checking glasses prescription and your best corrected visual acuity) is NOT a Comprehensive Eye Exam.
The comprehensive eye exam looks at your eye externally and internally for any signs of eye disease, then tests your vision in a variety of ways.
Sometimes glasses or contact lenses cannot improve your vision to 20/20! This may be due to underlying eye diseases!
How would you know if you don’t have a comprehensive exam?
In Merrick Avenue Optometry, we are an “ALL IN ONE Optometry Practice” where you can have a Comprehensive Eye Exam and get your new Eyeglasses and Contact Lenses! Why go to two different places when you can do it all in one!
